Title: Need help from -high school- students

So my university has a programme that invites high school students to perform some more advanced laborations that they won't be able to do in their premises.
Usually all the theory for the lab is explained by their high school teacher, but this time their teacher would like us to explain it for them.
I'm just wondering, how much knowledge in organic chemistry do you know in high school?

Would people understand the terms 'nucleophile', 'electrophile' or pKa or leaving group?

I'm in AP chemistry right now, and I'm familiar with pKa. "Leaving group" sounds familiar, but I would need to research a little to remember more accurately. However, I've never heard of "nucleophile or electrophile".

In regular chemistry though, none of these terms would be familiar.  :)

I'm taking Chem 1A and know the premise of pKa and leaving group, but that's honestly about it. Must wait till Chem AP. ;)
