calculating the number of structural, sterio and diasterioisomers

hi
i know that the formula for calculating the number of steriorisomers in a compound is 2^n (where n is the number of chiral carbons in a compound).
i was wondering if someone could tell me any formulas for the calculation of structural isomers and diasterioisomers in a compound.
