Title: stoichiometry problem
Post by: rosystarr on November 13, 2004, 09:13:17 PM
How many grams of ZnBr2 would be produced by the complete reation of 12.4g of Zn with HBr according to the following equation?

Zn + 2HBr > H2 + ZnBr2

So far I got:
12.4gZn x 1mol Zn x 1mol ZnBR2 x 225.19g ZnBr2
               ---------------------------------------------- = 2792.36
               65.39g Zn x 1 mol Zn x   1 mol                 ---------- = 42.70g ZnBr2
                                                                             65.39

IS ThIS RIGHT???
