Hello, I need the experimental procedure to carry out hydrogen peroxide decomposition while varying the factors that determine the rate of reaction. I met with failure while searching all over the google with a load of keywords. If you know the procedure, please let me share the knowledge, especially on how i can measure the rate of this reaction. :)

I met with failure while searching all over the google with a load of keywords.
I typed the following into Google

"hydrogen peroxide decomposition  rate"

And the first four entries given in the list are:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_peroxide
http://lincoln.pps.k12.or.us/lscheffler/RateDecompH2O2.html
http://www.gcsescience.com/rc5-decomposition-hydrogen-peroxide.htm
http://www.chemistry-react.org/go/Tutorial/Tutorial_4643.html

Perhaps you are using a different Google to me.

None of those have the experimental details such as apparatus required, precautions needed etc.

For example in

http://www.gcsescience.com/rc5-decomposition-hydrogen-peroxide.htm

The decomposition of hydrogen peroxide solution.

hydrogen peroxide   arrow   oxygen   +   water.
     2H2O2(aq)        :rarrow:        O2(g)   +   2H2O(l)

The reaction is carried out in a closed flask
which has a gas syringe connected to the top of it.
The reaction is started by adding a catalyst to the hydrogen peroxide.
The catalyst is manganese(IV) oxide.

The volume of oxygen in the syringe increases as the reaction proceeds.
The volume of oxygen can be noted every 30 seconds,
and a graph of volume against time can be plotted.
The gradient of the plot (the steepness of the slope)
shows how fast the reaction is going.
