Hello!
I am wondering what the rate law/reaction order for the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide in the presence of solid manganese IV oxide catalyst is? I have seen first order but I am confused since I think you do not include solids for rate law?
We haven't started this unit in school yet so sorry if I'm completely off...
Thank you!

You have only one compound H2O2 to decompose, MnO2 is the catalyst and is not included in the reaction.

Thank you for replying :)
So it is a first-order reaction?

I would say so.
