finding molar concentration of gas

1% HF in nitrogen. how would I find the moles of F in this?

What do you mean "moles"? Number of moles? That's amount, 1% is concentration, not knowing volume/mass of gas/liquid/whatever you can't calculate number of moles from a given concentration.

Sorry for cross posting.

Since I know that .5%F or .5g F, can I use this information to find moles of F (.5g/19g F) and then multiply by 22.4L (ideal gas) to find the volume I need for .5% F? (m02632 mol F * 22.4L)
Then use C1V1=C2V2 to find the volume of 1% HF in nitrogen needed? (.5%F)(.58992L)=(1% HF)(x L of HF)

Would this work?

I'm not sure how you've got 0.5% F, but assuming that's right, then the method seems fine.
