Title: deriving anharmonicity eqn and vibrational transition eqn
Post by: scouttryxx on April 11, 2005, 12:10:04 PM
hi all. been stuck on this problem for a week now, and i still can't make head nor tail of it.
admittedly it involves maths :(

how do i derive G(v) = we (v + 1/2) - wexe(v +1/2)2

and v (wavenumber) = Te' - Te'' + G(v') - G(v'')

to give w'e - 2wex'e(v'+1)?

how is it possible to derive an equations that have parameters in both excited state AND ground state?
