Did Dr. A make a mistake in this question?

x = [OH-] =3.6 x 10^-6 M

pOH = 4.5

pH = 9.5

Shouldn't the -log3.6x10^-6 be 5.44 instead? Is he or I wrong in this?

You are right. Probably a typo or something like that, correct answer is around 8.5

Yes as Borek has said you're correct.

-log3.6x10-6 is 5.44

but
-log3.6x10-5 is 4.44

and
-log3.5x10-5 is 4.45
