Supersaturated salt hydrates
(1/1)
Paco:
Hi, i am new in this forum. I would appreciate if you can answer one doubt i have about supersaturated salt hydrates.
I have observed that common crystalization-type warm heaters are made of sodium acetate. Is there any reason (i.e. safety) for not fabricating warm heaters out of the other list of salt hydrates which could provide a different heating temperature?
Thanks,

There are not so many who give a recognizable effect or they are expensive or hazardous.
Sodium acetate is cheap.
