Oxidation number
«

hello all, in this formula:
K
2
Cr
2
O
7
What is the oxidation number of
chromium
?
I got +6 somehow:
2 + 2Cr - 14 = 0
2Cr - 12 = 0
2Cr = 12
Cr = +6
Is that correct?
