hi

does anyone have expirience with synthesizing trans-1.2-cyclohexanediol?

C1CC[C@@H]([C@H](C1)O)O & C1CC[C@H]([C@@H](C1)O)O

Just as easy to buy it? See e.g. http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/product/aldrich/141712

Though if this is for an exercise - what ways do you know to make trans-1,2-diols?
