Ka at 25% equivalence
« on: March 14, 2006, 08:08:25 PM »
I need to find the Ka of acetic acid at 25% of equivalence. The initial solution is 5 mL of .600M acetic acid mixed into 100 mL distilled water. This is titrated with 4 mL of .186M NaOH at 25% equivalence.

How do I find Ka at 25% equivalence?

Thank you,

Sheryl

Ka you can find in tables. You probably should calculate pH at this point!?

Sheryl: Ka is only temperature dependent, concentration or titration percent do not change Ka value.
