Post by: istargaze88i on January 17, 2005, 08:33:09 PM
hey there  :)

When it comes to Electronegativity, which element is bonded most strongly to its electrons? Is it flourine?

& also...

Which element will release it's electrons with the least amount of "fight?"

PLEASE HELP ME. THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH.  :D

As any good chemistry book would tell you if you liiked for your homework >:( >:( >:( :bruce_h4h:  :rocket: :nono:...Fluorine has a Pauling electronegativity of 4.0- the highest. Cesium has the lowest electronegativity at 0.7 I believe. OK so maybe I did get carried awy with the smilies...
