Whats the heat produced by a regular lighter?
« on: March 24, 2008, 09:11:07 PM »
The question is,

Quantity of heat produced when 1.5 g of butane is completely combusted in air.

Thats all it offers and I'm a little stuck. It looks like it should be simple.

58.124 is the molar mass of butane

so theres .026 moles of butane being combusted.

This is simply a practice question that was bothering me.
