Title: Boyles Law Problem
Post by: oceanmd on March 05, 2008, 10:43:51 PM
Please check the problem. Thank you.
Hydrogen has a volume of 80 mL at 740 mmHg. What is its new volume at standard pressure?

My solution:
V2 = 740 mmHg x 80 mL / 760 mm Hg = 77.89 mL

Is this correct? Thank you.
