CoCl2(s) + ... (need solving chemical reactions)
« on: November 13, 2007, 05:14:53 PM »
Hey can anyone solve these equations (chemical reaction) for me please?

HCl(aq) + CoCl2(s) -->

HNO3(aq) + CoCl2(s) -->

H3CCOOH(aq) + CoCl2(s) -->

KCl(aq) + CoCl2(s) -->

KOH(aq) + CoCl2(s) -->

thanks in advacne

No. That's not the way it works. Nobody is going is to solve questions for you - but once you start, we will help.

well how about this:

HCl(aq) + CoCl2(s) --> CoCl3+(aq) + ½H2(g)

umm and why here HCl(aq) + CoCl2(s) the color becomes pink, whereas here KOH(aq) + CoCl2(s) it becomes blue then brown?
i'm sure it depends in its PH but can you explain?

What about cobalt (II) hydroxide?
