hi, i just want to know what colour is potassium iodide (as a liquid NOT solid/crystal)?

Solution of KI are often pale yellow since minute photochemical oxidation with formation of iodine

It is said to react with CO2 in air
4KI + 2CO2 + O2=> 2K2CO3 + 2 I2

Molten KI would be colorless.
