Title: Hydrogen question
Post by: reivera on April 16, 2008, 12:28:14 PM
Hi Iam a Maths Student and was wondering if anyone here could help. Iam after a formula or a way of finding out how much hydrogen it would take to lift an object of 80kg, (say in a balloon). Is there a formula for this?

Also what is the difference in weight between Hydrogen as a liquid, compressed and as a gas?

Matter takes up space and has mass.  The same amount, compressed, and condensed or frozen, has the same mass.  We don't create or lose matter by changing it's phase.
