I've looked at different posts, yet i keep seeing different answers, which is getting me even more confused.
How would I get the net ionic equation for:
NH3(aq) + HCl(aq) ---> NH4Cl(aq)
I'm so glad I found this site. ;)

What are the ions involved in this reaction? What are the spectator ions?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectator_ion
HCl(aq) = H+(aq) + Cl-(aq)
NH4Cl(aq) = NH4+(aq) + Cl-(aq)
