Title: CO2 solubility in water
Post by: baller24 on November 26, 2009, 01:44:44 AM
Water from a deep well is found to have a pH of 6.3 and an alkalinity of 1.00 x 10-3 eq/L at 20 C.
a. Calculate Concentration of CO3 for this well water prior to equilibration with atmospheric CO2. (3)
b. Calculate the pH and CCO3 after equilibration with atmospheric CO2. (3)

I am not really sure where to start this question. Any help would be appreciated!
