Title: Methanol in Powder or Solid form
Post by: Hamedk58 on April 24, 2021, 09:48:46 AM
Is it possible to have Methanol in the form of powder/solid? If so, how is the process or what are the suppliers for purchasing?

You have to cool it down below freezing point.

No, and it freezes at -96.7 °C and will probably behave more like ice than something which can then be ground up.

My bet is if you freeze it down to -200°C chances are it will become "grindable"  ;)

It should be obtainable, similiar as "dry water":

What do you need it for?
