Why propane has low boiling point ?

(1/1)

LycanRebel:
We know that propane has an extremely low boiling point,
allowing it to vaporize to gaseous state at a low temperature,
and no other fuel has these characteristics.

But Why?

Did anyone has the convincing answer for this?[/color]

movies:
No other fuel?  What about ethane, butane, and acetylene?

th3bach3lor:

i belive its because of its intermolecular forces.

1- No Hydrogen bonds
2- No Polarity  ( causing dipole, dipole forces)
3- propane is a small molecule ==> small london forces
