Title: Important equations to know?
Post by: springgy on February 06, 2008, 07:06:52 PM
I've been doing some practicals at uni recently and have been struggling to remember all the equations that we should know like Moles= Mass x Mr for example (although i do remember that one). So what equations do you guys think I should know? I want to come up with a list of equations I can memorise.

This make sense?

n = m/Mr !
Also, n = cv

If you can not remember, do a dimensional analysis.
For n = m/M: mole = grams/(gram.mol-1) = 1/mol-1 = mole

Just testing you :P I had it written down in my lab book right though, thats the most important thing.
