Title: I need your help
Post by: killua_gon on September 25, 2007, 12:59:41 AM
I need your help. Please answer this question.
<A>. Gas was generated when Mn02 was added to 250 cm3 of 3.4% H202 solution.
 1.What is the molar concentration ( in mol/dm30 of 3.4% H202 solution.
 2. What volume ( in dm30 of the gas was generatd theoretically at 0 celcius degree and 1atm
<B>. Explain why the boiling point of HF is higher than that of HCl
Thank you for helping me!

3.4 % H2O2 has  a density of 1.01 kg/dm3, hence you can use approximation 1kg = 1dm3 of H2O2. In this case calculation of molar conceetration is exceptionally easy!

Start from a balanced reaction of H2O2 decomposition then calcultae moles of hydrogen peroxide used, and than think a while
