Help Balancing Ion-Electron Redox Half-Reaction

Hello. I was wondering if anyone could help me balance this equation using the methods I said in the subject line. Thanks!

IO3-(aq) + I-(aq) = I3-(aq)

This is an acidic reaction, I don't know if that is obvious or not.

If I didn't misread your post, you want to balance this quation using half-equation method, right?(Just for confirmation - not saying this method is wrong)

IO3-(aq) + I-(aq) = I3-(aq)

Obviously, you have IO3-(aq) and I-(aq) from the start, and these two chemicals will both be oxidized/reduced to I3-(aq). So, you need to balance the following two half equations:

IO3-(aq)  :rarrow: I3-(aq)

I-(aq)  :rarrow: I3-(aq)

Try to proceed from here.
