Enthalpy homework problem?
« on: January 24, 2011, 09:42:24 PM »
Two biochemical reactions have the same Keq at temperature T1 = 298K. However, Reaction 1 has Ho(1) = 50000 J/mol and Reaction 2 has Ho(2) = -33000 J/mol. How much the temperature should be raised or lowered in order to change the value K2/K1 from 1 to 10?

Please show me step by step so I can understand. Thank you.

To help you get started you need to use the following equations (they are attached). You should be able to start from here.
