How to perform reflux of a reaction under inert atmosphere without a schlenk line? Will a nitrogen balloon work? I am having difficulties with the setup.

Pretty difficult with balloon i think. Can you get a tank and regulator? Can just run hose directly to rxn and add a bubbler.

What is the reaction? Depending on what you're doing, and ambient conditions, it might be that Schlenk-based setups are overkill?

I see. I do have a tank and a regulator set up somewhere else, I am just asking if a balloon would be enough because it's more convenient. I am dealing with Suzuki and Ullmann type coupling reactions.
