FLAAS Question
« on: April 21, 2009, 01:11:00 PM »
HI all.
I am just finishing up my 15 weeks project for my undergrad (chem lab tech).
I ran calibration standards of Cu and Pb. Cu was no problem. Pb on the other hand....

I ran lots of calibration standards, but I dont think I optimized correctly, so I made new solutions.
I have a presentation and I'm not sure if the teachers will believe me that I made solutions of 0.1 - 0.5 ppm of Pb and was able to get readings.. I did, I'm not lying but I'm not really wanting to defend the integrity of my results when I know they're real.

So does anyone have experience in getting detection w/ AA, when looking for Pb?! and possible advice if they ask...

Thanks.
Chris
