A titration is done for the following reaction:
NaOH + KHP --> Na+ + K+ + P2- + H2O

What I don't understand is what would be the expected effect on the concentration of the NaOH if you were to overshoot the endpoint. Will the concentration be higher or lower than it should be? Why?

Another titration is done for the following reaction:
NaOH + CH3COOH --> Na+ + CH3COO- + H2O

If you overshoot the endpoint, what it the expected effect on the concentration of the unknown acetic acid? Will the concentration be higher or lower? Why?

Calculate answer for exact endpoint and for endpoint + 1 mL and compare results - you will know then. That's a bulletproof method.
