Your friend is jogging next to you and says he has a wavelength. Is this correct or not? And y?

Hmmm... your friend is a thing, that is he is an object.  Light has a wavelength.  So is light a thing, or an object, or just a form of energy?  If light is an object or thing, then other things can have wavelengths, too.  So is light a discrete object -- a thing or is it just a wave of energy.  Don't answer that too fast -- I'm dancing around a certain term you should have heard in class or read in your textbook.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
