Title: Vapor pressure/ molar mass problem
Post by: lazyndnkid on February 05, 2008, 11:37:29 PM
When 10.5 g of an unknown, non-volatile, non-electrolyte, X was dissolved in 100. g of water, the vapor pressure of the solvent decreased from 23.8 torr to 23.3 torr at 298 K. Calculate the molar mass of the solute, X.

any help?

How vapor pressure change is related to number of moles of solute?
