Title: What is the bond between Al and O for AlO6 structures?

I read some of the journal papers regarding Al hydrolysis interaction, and it is discussing about something like

[Al(OH)5]2-
Al(OH)3+3H2O

But what might be the bond between Al and O for these "highly oxidated" Al atoms?

I can understand things like Al(OH)3, and [Al(OH)4]-. Al has 3 valence electrons so 3 OHs can bond with Al. For Al(OH)4, I think 2 unpair electrons from O can close to Al to create some sort of 4th Al-O interaction.

But I'm not sure how 5th OH bond is formed with [Al(OH)4]-, and what might be the interaction between Al of Al(OH)3 and O of water molecules. Are they electrostatic force?

I know it doesn't address you question, but:

Are they electrostatic force?

Are there non-electrostatic forces involved in bonding?
