Current Problems
« on: July 11, 2007, 12:22:10 AM »
I thought this may be the best place for this question...

What are some broad questions or unanswered problems in current research of organic chemistry?

Just wondering for myself

Thanks

There's LOTS!

There are millions of molecules that haven't been made yet...we just don't know how to make a lot of them.

If you're looking for problems you want to try to tackle, why not make some money while doing it?  www.innocentive.com has a list of projects.  Solve one, and the person needing the molecule/solution will give you MONEY!  Often thousands of dollars (since they're companies).  For a list of projects go to http://www.innocentive.com/servlets/project/ProjectInfo.po?type=Chemistry
