The reaction of nitrocellulose with acetic acid
« on: August 21, 2018, 01:15:21 PM »
Hy,

Please help me with some info regarding the reaction between the nitrocellulose and acetic acid. Does a chemical reaction take place between these two in the presence of moisture (water)? If yes can somebody specify me what is the end product.
Thanks

Gergely

Can you write a balanced chemical equation for the reaction?
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
