Title: Diabetes Mellitus Type 2: Effect on Liver Glycogenesis?
Post by: bergkamp10 on June 25, 2010, 08:22:49 AM
Sorry for asking so many questions everyone, sorry if I am cluttering up the forum.

I just have a quick question, in diabetes mellitus type 2 where there is insulin resistance by body cells of glucose uptake but I was wondering if it also affects the liver? Usually insulin would cause more glycogenesis in the liver, I'm just wondering if DM Type 2 just affects glucose uptake but not glycogenesis. :)
