Title: Precision of Lab Equipment Question
Post by: ChargePositive on September 21, 2018, 10:28:26 PM
Hello all,
So I am doing a few questions here for a lab and I'm a but confused so hopefully you guys can help me out. So the questions is asking for my lab what the equipment is estimated to, and I'm not sure how determining that works. So for the first part, the 10mL graduated cylinder read at intervals of .2mL. So you would have results like 3.25mL, with the last digit being uncertain. So what is it estimated within: .02? .01? For the 25mL graduated cylinder, it read at intervals of .5mL. So you would have results like 3.55. How is that estimated to?

P.S. This is the Question in Question https://imgur.com/98SVuTA (https://imgur.com/98SVuTA)

I really appreciate any help you guys give out, thanks!
