is there a way to measure a precipitate?

when u react calcium hydroxide solution with CO2 , you get a precipitate.

is it possible to measure the amount of precipitate formed?

does it occur to you that you can pour the reaction mixture into a filter.

the residue from the filtration process is the solid precipitate. after drying the precipitate, weigh it.

I believe it's called Gravimetric Analysis.

I believe it's called Gravimetric Analysis.
It IS called gravimetric analysis (or gravimerty)
