Michael Addition
« on: October 18, 2013, 10:46:15 AM »
Hi,

there's a reaction of 1-pyrrolidinocyclohexene with Ethyl vinyl ketone.

I've already found out that the reaction of 1-pyrrolidinocyclohexene with Ethyl vinyl ketone is a Michael Reaction.

But I don't get  on which C-Atom  the ethyl vinyl keton is added!?

I hope someone can help me.

actally, this is a question from German ICHO , second round , of this year

you're cheating, and are violating the rules of competition you've agreed to

Not saying you are wrong, but IChO this year was held in Moscow, and next year will be held in Hanoi. Nothing to do with Germany. Perhaps you mean national ChO?

Do you have any link to questions and rules?

@ Borek

this is national selection process for final candidates in Germany of this year, second round, i.e. actual (meant for final international competition in 2014)

it's being held by ICHO, Germany  (responsible: IPN Kiel, Germany )

tasks for second round are not available to public in general *)
