Hey guys, I want make sure im on the right track when knowing when to double bond. For exampl, in the case of ICl5 you wouldnt double bond because Cl is in group 7 and is only one away from being a noble gas.
Does that mean that as you get to group 6 you can double bond once? since it is two away from being a noble gas.

Im preaty comfused with all of this.

Thanks
