How many kilograms of carbon are produced from the combustion of 8.00 gallons of gasoline. Assume that gasoline is C8H18 and has a density of 692 g/L.

Are you sure that's what your question reads, as carbon would not be produced by complete combustion of a hydrocarbon?

I think you need to assume that it is possible to completely convert the CO2 produced to carbon.
