hey guys

im new to this forums thing...thought i give it a try as they seem to be more useful then lecturershelping you to solve problems as i havenoticed thr are alot of clever ppl onthis

anyways..i havebeen given coursework to do...im totally clueless on mass transercoefficients andwhitman two film theory

i thought id ask some help

these r questions i am stuck on


   If Henry’s constant, H is given in terms of Pa/(kmol m-3), show how it can be converted to mol fraction/mol fraction.

   Show how the overall mass transfer coefficient, K_y, can be derived from the individual gas and liquid mass transfer coefficients,〖 k〗_y and k_x, respectively

   what is the relationship between mass transfer coefficient and diffusivity, and how can they be related to each other

   if N_A= k_g  (p_A- p_Al ) and N_A= k_yg  (y_A- y_Al ) how is 〖 k〗_g and k_y related?



ANY help would greatly be appreciated
