sulphuric acid acts as a catalyst for the decomposition for hydrogen peroxide.

I doubt water is a reactant, seems like a possible product to me. ;)

could that be concentrated sulphuric acid?

xiankai: even adding dilute HCl catalyses the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide.
