New Research in Inorganic Chemistry
« on: November 13, 2007, 10:36:36 AM »
Hi All,
For my Inorganic course at University, we are going to present or write a paper on (what seems to be, at least) virtually any area of modern Inorganic Chemistry that we choose.
Does anyone know of any particular, extremely current areas of research that they find of particular interest? I'm trying to start the brain storm, but I'd like to know if anyone has any input whatsoever.

What kind of materials are you interested in?  There's a lot of interesting stuff out there: (these articles aren't the most current, but use Google)

Molecular Magnets:

Magnetic Fluids:

Aerogels (search the forums for this as well):

Hydrogen Storage:

There are a lot of things out there.  Check out the latest issue of Chemical and Engineering News from your library if you want to get an idea of what's out there.
