Post by: chilli on June 11, 2016, 09:11:34 PM
Hello all!
went through this question but I don't understand how they got a certain number (the orange squared one)
I know its Cp,m but I cant figure out how they got it, can someone explain? ty!

I chilli, it's just not the style here to make the assignment for you. So: what have you tried up to now? For instance, how do you compute delta(S)?

hi Enthalpy, oh, it's not my assignment I just found it on the web, it's from 2001 here's the link http://tyr0.chem.wsu.edu/~kipeters/Chem338/Homework/HW4.soln.pdf (http://tyr0.chem.wsu.edu/~kipeters/Chem338/Homework/HW4.soln.pdf), I can understand all of it but having trouble with that number
maybe my question should have been how do I calculate Cp,m? what is the data I need in order to calculate it? I know it's heat capacity, but I'm lost on how to find it... ty!
