Title: MOLAR SUBSTITUTION of HEC
Post by: catherine on August 13, 2008, 12:32:55 AM
How do you process HEC or Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose?  What is molar substitution?  How does the processing affect the final molar substitution of the product?  DOes it affect much if a little bit in the processing is altered? What it is?  Actually, I am going to get the Molar substitution of HEC.  I am thinking if it is really needed if the formulation of HEC is the same but with little alterations in the processing.  Will a small difference in Molar substitution will affect the property of my emulsion resin.  thank you in advance....
