« on: April 22, 2008, 07:07:50 PM »
Hi,  :)

can someone show me how to do the hydrolysis of enamine, the mechanism of it. I know the mechanism for forming the enamine, but how do i go back to the ketone/aldehyde?

I also need help with hydrolysis of the Fischer esterification... ???

Hydrolysis is just the reverse of the formation.  For example, when you lose water near the end of the formation, that reverse would be water attacking.  Same thing with fischer esterification, just reverse the process.
