Hello everyone,
I need some advice from someone who has taken the ACS organic chemistry exam. I take the exam in a week and I've estimated that I need to get 35/70 questions right on the exam for an A in my class. With that being said, and given the time constraint, does anyone know which topics in particular I should focus on? Also, was the ACS review book helpful?

There are no shortcuts in chemistry. Without a solid foundation, you will not do much about specific problems. Such a wide exam as ACS just checks it - the basics and understanding of them.

The ACS review book can be helpful... There is also a brief review book by Fredlos that is pretty good. The ACS exam is pretty broad since it has to cover everything that might be covered in all the different Organic classes across the country!
