Title: equilibrium - radioactive carbon

A system that is at equilibrium still produces reactant and product molecules. This principle needs to be tested for the following system:
  Fe³⁺(aq) + CNS^-(aq) <--> Fe(CNS)²⁺(aq)

The ¹⁴C in ¹⁴CNS^- is radioactive. How can this be used to test whether "A system that is at equilibrium still produces reactant and product molecules".
