Decomposition of Ammonium Carbamate with respect to temperature
« on: February 27, 2010, 07:56:09 AM »
Hey guys i'm a chemical engineering student, doing my final year...i'm doing a project on "Study on the effects of urea production by varying the parameter"....my work is to vary the temperature of a decomposer which decomposes ammonium carbamate to carbon di oxide & ammonia...my problem is that i don't have any details on the properties of intermediate compound Ammonium Carbamate.....also i need to know the decomposition rate of it with respect to temperature....plz tell me decomposition rate of Ammonium Carbamate with respect to temperature at 23 bar pressure...also if possible plz send the available properties of Ammonium Carbamate....all i ever found out is the boilng point(Sublimes at 140 F),molecular weight (78.07) & CAS number (1111-78-0)....Thank you....i would much appreciate if the decomposition rates & temperature are in tabulated form.....thank you once again...
