what are the methods to analyse phosphorus content in plant food?
any suggestions ???
thx ;)

You can analyze the phosphate quantity with a gravimetric method by precipitating the Phosphate as Ammonium Magnesium phosphate, which is converted to Mg-Pyrophosphate by roasting, then, you can easily calculate the phosphate content.
Also, I think that it is possible to determine the content by photometry (Phosphate forms a yellow complex with ammonium Heptamolybtate, AFAIR)...

You should check the Official Methods of Analysis from the AOAC.... It is really useful and I am sure you
can find what you are looking for... It is always available at the library...
I hope this helps you :)
